On Monday, December 20, 2021 the varsity basketball teams will compete at Hy-Vee Arena (formerly Kemper Arena) in Kansas City, MO. The 12 Courts of Christmas hosts over 135 teams from Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Iowa with games being spread out over a 9 day span.
As previously mentioned, the Nodaway Valley Thunder will play on December 20th with both the girls and boys teams facing off against North Platte. The girls game will start at 6:00 pm and they boys game will start at 8:00 pm.
Tickets may be purchased at the door or are also available online which will allow for quicker access into the Arena. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Tickets purchased will be valid for all games played on that day.
If your child is an athlete on the team and they are wanting a commemorative t-shirt there is no need to purchase in advance or at the event as shirts will be given to all athletes and Head Coaches. Shirts will be given to Head Coaches upon the arrival of the team or distribution.
